To become a member of the African Ministers' Charter is free. Every African Minister is automatically a member. You have to be a registered member in other to be elected or nominated for any office in the organization.

CRITERIA FOR CHOOSING OFFICERS & BOARD MEMBERS
- All officers/appointees of the Organization must be registered member of the Organization. and must be from Africa.
- Members of Board of Trustee must be Ministers
- Whoever desires to be elected/appointed as an officer or member of the Board of Trustees must be committed to the vision of the Organization.
- Members of the Advisory Board will comprise of Africans, not necessarily Ministers, Americans, non-Americans that believe in the vision of the organization, professionals, and business people.
- We shall seek to follow the scriptural guidance in appointing officers/Board members by following Titus 1:5-9 and I Timothy 3:1-13.
- We shall seek to represent different African countries in the Board.
- All officers/appointees shall have the spiritual qualifications to serve in these positions.
- The officers/appointees must believe and accept the Statement of Basic Beliefs as stated on the Organization's constitution and by-laws.

It is a requirement that every member of AMC
accept and adhere to the following ministerial ethics:

Each member has a right to their own style and personality as they follow Christ. |

To conduct ones affairs in morals, finances, and business relations with a high degree of Christian integrity. |
|
To maintain a teachable spirit towards the other leaders of the Charter. |
|
To speak in a respectful and edifying manner where other members of the Charter are concerned. |
|
To abstain, directly or indirectly, in any issue that would cause a discord among members. |
|
To not sow seeds of discord among the body by gossip, rumors and opinionated criticism. |
|
To abstain from the consumption or use of alcohol, tobacco and illegal drugs. |
|
To pursue a Christian relationship with other members of the Charter. |
|
To respect the rights of others and allow them to be different, as long as their actions comply with the written Word of God. |
|
To support and give your loyalty to any pastor under which you may serve. |
|
To deal justly as the Scriptures command concerning all areas of fellowship, relationships, unity and brotherly love. |
|
To follow the procedure as commanded in the Scriptures when faced with a brother or sister who is in violation of these ethics or any other Biblical moral standard. |
|
To agree to adhere to our
Statement of Faith, Ministerial Ethics and By-Laws. |
|
AMC believes that the homosexual life style
is contrary to scripture and is not acceptable to God. |
